Welcome to a brand new year. We hope that 2006 will bring
you a safe, healthy, and happy New Year. We are very excited to
share all the changes that have taken place in the last
month or so.
We are happy to announce that Larry and Teri Ivie have
stepped up to become Nevada Assistant District Directors.
With them they bring experience as Chapter Directors in
Ohio. They are members of the “Vegas Wings” Chapter NV-A.
We don’t want to still their thunder as they have written a
biography so please take a moment to read it, and get to know them.
We congratulate them on their new position, and want them
to know how much they are appreciated.
We are also happy
to announce that Nevada has two new Chapter Directors. Fred Wilson and Roz
Adams took the position of
Chapter
Directors for Chapter H in Elko. They are doing a great job, and we sure
appreciate them taking over on such short notice.
Bill and Rene Schultz moved
to the Northwest and love it there, but when they got transferred on short
notice Fred and Roz stepped
up with pure enthusiasm. We are enjoying working
with them. Chapter E just had their change over. It took place at their
Christmas Party, Micky and Marianne Farrington stepped up to take over as
Chapter Directors. We have worked with them before
as they are also the
District Webmasters. They are enthusiastic as well, and we are thrilled for
the Sierra Eagles (Reno) to have them
as their new CD’s. Mike and Lesley Harris
put in nearly two years as Chapter Directors and they were ready for a new
position.
Thank you Mike and Lesley for your dedication, you guys really did a
great job.
We are looking
forward to Nevada hosting the Region F Rally. It is being held over the
Memorial Day weekend,
May 25th thru May 27th in Elko,
Nevada. If you check your calendar you will see that the Rally is starting on
Thursday and ending
on Saturday. This is being done because it is so far for
most of the Region to travel, and we thought it may work out better to be able
to take work off in one week instead of two different weeks. The rally is
themed “Not Your Typical Rally” there will be
entertainment,
fun, games, fun, social activities, fun.
Get the picture? We are going to have fun! Please mark your calendar
or better
yet go to the Region F Website and download a registration form, send it in
before January 31st and get a discount on
your registration rate.
Make your room reservations and you are ready to ride. The registration forms
will be on the Nevada website
very soon. We hope to see you all there.
Ride safe, be happy, and have fun.
